Taboo Became Faboo - Adam Lambert My New Hero

Alright, we are going to talk about this and frankly I don't care what anyone says about it because, the hypocrisy surrounding my wanna-be gay boyfriend Adam Lambert, is revolting.

Lets take a trip back in time shall we?

Oh let us NOT forget this years Miley Cyrus - Im Sweet 16 and Think I am a Pole Dancer Routine at the Teen Choice Awards

So, taking that trip back in time what do these "racy" moments on live television have in common, besides the fact that they were the watercooler talk the next morning, oh yea thats it...these were all mainly performed/done by females and yet, these incidents are very hard to find online because, after one day, they blew over.

So, what does that say in itself? Well, it shows that girls can kiss girls, girls can strip, 16 year olds can pole dance in front of younger children, Prince can bare his bottom, Diana Ross can fondle a bare breast but...Adam Lambert cannot be theatrical and racy at 11pm at night...hmm, interesting.

Whats the issue here? That we are so "ok" with female homosexual actions that we have accepted it into the world of entertainment now with open arms but still when it comes to male homosexuality being displayed we act like the second coming has begun?

Listen heres the whole thing of it. Adam Lambert is one of the most incredible talented young singers out there today. His flawless voice reflects the soothing tone of Karen Carpenter with the underlying unique notes that Adam only himself seems to be able to hit. He entertains even at shock value and, he is being himself which is much more than I can say for a lot of those performers last night.

If we want to argue something lets argue over the lip-synching that goes on. Janet did it, J-Lo did it, why aren't we huffing and puffing at the fact that those two can't sing without their tapes going or else we would know how they really sound without the pitch-perfection and tone-correction buttons working for them.

The point is, Adam is comfortable with being him, the FCC KNEW what Adam was going to do and was bracing for complaints so, it wasn't TOO racy for tv by "legal standards". He had fun, he did amazingly and he pushed the boundary.

Just because he was ON American Idol doesn't mean he has to be some cookie-cutter child, it means he had a great chance to do what he does best and I applaud him for everything he pulled out on TV last night.

Standing Ovation to you Adam

and to those in Hollywood and the real world, stop PRETENDING that the performance shocked you that bad..because you all know you have seen or participated in worse...just sayin

Toodles to All
